Ingredients:
- 6 Tbsp flour
- 6 Tbsp oil
- 1 large onion sliced
- 1/4 Mushrooms sliced
- 3 1/2 C water
- 1 large round steak
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
- Cut meat into 6 equals pieces
- Flour, lightly salt and brown quickly in 4 Tbsp oil.
- Remove from skillet to casserole
- Add rest of oil and 6 Tbsp flour to skillet to make thin paste
- Add water and thicken into a thin gravy.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Spread onions and mushrooms over meat.
- Pour gravy over all.
- Cover and bake at 350 for 1 1/2 hours or until tender.
