Ingredients:
- 3/4 C butter flavored crisco
- 1 1/4 C firmly packed light brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp milk
- 1 Tbsp vanilla
- 1 egg
- 1 3/4 C all purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 3/4 tsp baking soda
- 1 C semi sweet chocolate chips
- 1 C pecan peices {optional}
Directions:
- Heat oven to 375
- combine criso, brown sugar and vanilla in a large bowl
- beat at med speed until creamy
- beat egg into creamed mixture
- Combine flour, salt, and baking soda and mix into creamed mixture until just blended.
- Stir in chocolate chips and pecans
- Drop by rounded tsp full about 3 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet
- bake at 375 for 8-10 minutes for chewy cookies. 11-13 for crisp cookies
- cool on baking sheet 2 minutes before removing. Then remove to foil on countertop
- makes about 2 1/2 dozen cookies
