Ingredients:
4 eggs
1 C sugar
4 TBSP cornstarch
3 TBSP Hershey's cocoa
2 Cups whole milk
1 TBSP Butter of margerine
2 tsp vanilla {divided}
6 TBSP sugar
1 pie shell baked
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Seperate 3 of the 4 eggs and set aside the whites. In a large bowl beat 3 egg yolks and the 1 whole egg until fluffy. Add sugar,corn starch and mix well. Add milk. Stir over low flame until it thickens. Mixture may lump. Beat out lumps and add butter and 1 tsp of vanilla. pour into cooked pie shell.
At high speed beat the egg whites. Slowly add sugarand rest of vanilla. Mound maringue on top of pie and bake at 350 until brown. About 10 to 15 minutes. Top with grated specks of semisweet chocolate.
