Stuffed Peppers

Portion: 4 servings
Ingredients:
6 green peppers(halved and par boiled for 5 minutes)
1/3 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup uncooked rice
1 -1lb can tomatoes(cut in small pieces)
1 cup sharp cheddar cheese – shredded
1 lb. ground beef -browned
1/2 cup water
1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
15 ounce can tomato sauce
1 clove minced garlic
Directions:
– Browned meat and onions in large skillet
– Add tomatoes, water and rice
– Cook covered 15 minutes or until rice is tender
– Stir in cheese
– Stuff peppers, place into baking dish
– Pour tomato sauce over

Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes
