Italian Meatball Hoagies

Ingredients:

Meatballs- 

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 2 tb parsley
  • 1 1/2 tsp oregano
  • 1 1/2 tsp basil
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 2 lbs beef
  • 1 1/2 cups bread crumbs

Sauce-

  • 2 cans tomatoe sauce
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 1/2 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp basil
  • 1 tsp parsley
  • 1/2 tsp salt

 

  • Slice or shredded mozarella
  • 12 sub buns

Directions:

  • Combine first 8 ingredients. Mix in bread crumbs and beef. Shape into 1 in balls. Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
  • Combine tomatoe sauce, parmesan, oregano, basil, parsley, and salt. Bring to boil. Add meatballs and simmer 20 minutes. Serve on Buns.
