Ingredients:
- 2 C sugar
- 2 C Crisco
- 6 eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 2 tsp butter
- 4 squares Bakers chocolate melted
- 1 1/3 C cake flour
Icing
- 1 egg
- 1/4 C milk
- 1 box confectioners sugar
- 3 squares unsweet chocolate
- 1 stick butter
- 1 tsp vanilla
Directions:
- Cream Crisco and sugar.
- Add vanilla.
- Add eggs one at a time
- Add melted chocolate and then flour
- Bake in glass dish 13×9
- Bake at 325 for one hour
- Do not overbake. May fall but it will not matter
Icing
- Melt chocolate and butter together.
- Beat egg and milk
- And half of sugar and beat well.
- And second half and beat more.
- Add 1 C pecans.
- Spread over cake while warm
