Old Fashioned Beef Stroganoff

Ingredients:

1/4 cup Flour

1/2 tsp salt

1/8 tsp pepper

1 1/2 lbs beef sirloin, cut into 2 in strips

 1/4 cup Olive Oil

1 1/2 cups Beef Stock

3 TBL Tomato Juice

1 TBL mustard

1 TBL Worcestershire sauce

1/2 cup sliced mushrooms

1 cup sour cream

Directions:

  1. Put the flour, salt and pepper in plastic bag.  Add the sirloin and close the bag.  Shake the bag to coat the meat.
  2. In a very large skillet brown the meat in the olive oil.
  3. Stir in beef stock, tomato juice, mustard, Worcestershire sauce and mushrooms.
  4. Heat to boiling, then turn the heat to simmer and simmer covered for 30 minutes.
  5. Stir in sour cream

Notes:
Sereve over rice or noodles.
