Ingredients:
2 teaspoons cornstarch
3 tablespoons brown sugar
1/4 cup cold water
1 1/2 cup sliced fresh strawberries
1 tablespoon butter
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1/3 cup flour
2 tablespoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 1/2 tablespoon butter
2 tablespoons milk
2 tablespoons chopped pecans
1/4 teaspoon shredded orange peel
dash of salt
Directions:
1. Mix the first three ingredients. Add strawberries and cook and stir until bubbly.
2. Add butter and lemon juice.
3. Pour into two casserole dishes.
4. Sift together flour, 2 tablespoons sugar, 1/2 teaspooon baking powder and salt. Cut in 1 1/2 tablespoon butter.
5. Stir in 2 tablespoons milk, 2 tablespoons pecans, and orange peel. Pour biscuit topper over strawberries.
6. Bake at 400 for 25 minutes.
