Mom\’s Apple Crisp

Ingredients:
4-6 large granny smith apples, peeled, cored and sliced
8 graham cracker squares, chopped
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup flour
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 cup butter or margarine
Directions:
1. Peel, core and slice apples.

2. Finely chop graham crackers.

3. Combine crumbs, sugar, oats, flour and spices. Add butter and mix well.

4. Put apples in baking dish. Pour batter over apple slices.

5. Microwave on high 12-15 minutes or until apples are tenders, turning dish after six minutes.

6. Serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
