Ingredients:
- 1 loaf french bread
- 8 eggs beaten
- 1 C milk
- 2 C heavy cream
- pinch of salt
- 2 TBSP sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
Topping
- 1 C brown sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 stick butter
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1 C pecans chopped {optional}
Directions:
- slice loaf in 1 inch thick slices and layed on greased 9×13 dish.
- mix the rest of the ingredients
- pour over bread.
- let sit overnight in refrigertor
- Spread topping on top of bread and bake uncovered at 350 for 35-40 minutes.
- serve with syrup
