Ingredients:
- 1 3 lb fryer or 8 pieces of chicken
- 1 pkg dry onion soup mix
- 1/2 C Sherry
- 3 Tbsp butter
Directions:
- wash and dry chicken
- divide soup mix and place half of mix on shallow baking dish.
- PLace chicken on top of mix. And sprinkle other half of soup mix on top of chicken.
- Dot with butter and add sherry.
- Cover tightly with foil and bake at 300 for 2 hours. Remove foil and bake for 30 more minutes.
- Serve over rice
