Ingredients:
1 Lb dry pinto beans washed.
4 slices bacon
1 meduim onion chopped
1 Tbsp sugar
1 1/2 C tomato juice or 1 can whole tomatoes
salt to taste
2 Tbsp chili powder
Directions:
Cover pinto beans in water and cook 1 1/2 hours then add rest of ingredients. Cook until tender or until bean juice is thick.
