Ingredients:
1 large loaf of day-old French bread (torn in pieces)
6 T. melted butter
1/2 lb chopped ham
3/4 lb shredded swiss
1/2 lb shredded Monterey Jack
16 eggs
3 c. milk
3/4 c. dry white wine
4 green onions (thinly sliced)
1/4 t. red pepper
1 1/2 T. spicy mustard
1 1/2 c. sour cream
3/4 c. Parmesan
Directions:
Grease 2 9×13 pans. Layer: bread pieces (drizzled with butter)and sprinkle with ham, swiss, and Jack.
Mix eggs, milk, wine, green onions, mustard, and pepper. Beat until foamy. Pour 1/2 over each casserole and refrigerate over night.
Remove from the fridge 30 minutes before baking. Preheat the oven to 325*. Cover and bake for 1 hour.
Remove from oven. Spread with sour cream and sprinkle tops with Parmesan cheese.
Bake uncovered for an additional 10 minutes, or until slightly browned.
