Ingredients:
Mustard Barbecue Sauce
- 1/2 cyo Dijon Mustard
- 3 Tbsp clover honey
- 1 Tbsp light-brown sugar
- 3 Tbsp rice-wine vinegar or cider vinegar
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- Few dashes Tabasco sauce
- 1/4 tsp kosher salt
- 1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
Grilled Salmon
- 4 salmon fillets, 8 oz. each
- 2 Tbsp canola oil
- Salt and freshly ground pepper
Directions:
Mustard Barbecue Sauce
- Whisk together all ingredients in a bowl; cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour and up to 24 hours before using. The longer the sauce sits in the refrigerator, the better the flavor becomes. Bring to room temperature before using.
Grilled Salmon
- Heat the grill to high.
- Brush the salmon fillets on both sides with the oil and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Grill the salmon on each side until golden brown and cooked medium-well-done, about 4 minutes per side, brushing with some of the sauce every few minutes.
- Remove the salmon from the grill and immediately drizzle the top of each illet with more of the sauce.
- Serve with remaining sauce on the side.
