This recipe is quick, easy to make, and good if you are in a hurry!
based on a Bon Appetit recipe, with the main difference being the substitution of Guinness and excellent red wine for some of the beef stock the recipe called for. As I suspected, the addition of Guinness and red wine makes all the difference.
Flavored with vegetables, cheese and bacon, these tarts are a delicious addition to any party, brunch or breakfast. You will need a muffin pan.
When I made this for the first time I was amazed how much it tasted like a delicious steak sandwich. Veggies will fall in love with this recipe!
"Grilled chicken with a sweet kick."
Small, no-bake cookies that look like potatoes. It's fast and easy.
Delicious mini pies
Easy-to-assemble casserole. You will need a large saucepan, a 2-1/2 qt. baking dish, and a pot to cook the spiral pasta in.

Hi lovely people!
Easter is upon us. I know that a lot of you are reading this from all different parts of the world, but for me, here in England, Easter signifies the beginning of spring and new life.
Those of you who have read my book, Jamie at Home, or seen the show may know that we’ve just started sowing our broad beans. Our potatoes and salad crops are just kicking into action too. All of the winter stuff is beginning to come to an end and this new life is coming through. So for me, this is just a wonderful time of the year and there’s a big feeling of optimism. If you don’t have a garden then get down to the markets where you’ll start seeing loads of vibrant, exciting colours and fresh ingredients appearing.
Now you might think I sound a bit pompous here, but chocolate has gotten so bad these days it’s hard to find an Easter egg made with real chocolate. Most eggs are loaded with sugar and have hardly any chocolate in them. Greene and Black’s springs to mind as a good chocolate maker and since Easter only happens once a year it’s much better to give your kids proper chocolate than a load of old sugar that is going to send them bonkers. You can even get Easter egg kits where you can make Easter eggs from a mould.
Easter at mine is great. We do a little Easter egg hunt with the girls and it’s great fun. I haven’t worked out exactly what I’ll be cooking this Sunday but it will definitely be a roast. I like spring lamb because it’s tender but I may choose something else. I kind of prefer lamb a few months older as it has more flavour because it has been feeding on the grass for a bit longer. I have posted up a pot roasted lamb recipe in the Forums under the recipe section. Check it out and let me know what you’ll be eating over the Easter break.
Have a great holiday everyone!
Big Love Jamie O xxx
