Oatmeal Crisps

Ingredients:

1 C shortening

1 C brown sugar

1 C white sugar

2 eggs beaten

1 tsp vanilla

1 C coconut

1 C nuts chopped

1 C flour

1 tsp baking soda

1 tsp salt

2 C quick oatmeal 

Directions:
Combine shortening and sugars. Add eggs and vanilla. Add coconut and nuts. Sift flour with baking soda and salt. Add to shortening mixture. Add oatmeal. Chill dough. Make into balls and place  well seperated on cookie sheet. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 10-15 minutes.
