12 pcs. of sliced white sandwich bread (top crusts removed)
1t. ground mustard
1c. total of any of the following: bacon, cooked sausage, chopped ham, olives, peppers, onion, tomato
Spray 9×13 pan. Tear bread in 1 inch pieces. Place half of the bread in the bottom of the pan. Sprinkle half of the cheese and half of the toppings on the bread. Set aside.
Beat eggs in a bowl. Add milk, mustard, salt, and pepper. Stir well. Pour half over the bread. Add another layer of bread, cheese, and toppings. Pour the rest of the egg mixture on top.
Press down gently with hand so all bread is wet. Cover. Refrigerate over night. Take out to warm up half an hour before baking. Uncover. Bake 45 min. at 350*.
