2 3 ounce packages of cherry, blueberry or lemon gelatin
1 cup boiling water
1. In a medium bowl, dissolve the gelatin with the boiling water.
2. Pour the mixture into an 8 inch square pan and refrigerate for at least three hours.
3. Using a 2 1/2 inch butterfly cookie cutter, carefully cut out the gelatin. If they are difficult to remove, dip the bottom of the pan in warm water for a few seconds.
4. Arrange a short length of twisted licorice in the center of the wings. For antennae, insert shoestring licorice into the heads. Press candy dots into the wings to add color.
